Responsibilities include developing and documenting the IT requirements, design and test documents for assigned projects in the data warehouse environment. Serve as architect to develop interfaces required. Interface with the offshore team doing the development and support test activities, ensuring all projects are delivered on schedule and defect free. Essential Responsibilities * Maintain expertise in functions, processes and systems supporting RCF Data Management
* Understand IT stakeholders, business and customer expectations, needs and goals
* Serve as technical expert responsible for the design and implementation of assigned projects which support client and/or business objectives
* Responsible for IT estimates, requirements, design and testing tollgate deliverables
* Review project plans and provide feedback to Project manager
* Complete high-level design with system engineer and translate into detailed technical design in adherence to GE design and security standards
* Create design documents such as data flow diagrams, user interface and interface mappings
* Develop coding specifications for offshore development team
* Support integration, performance and system testing. Validate test results
* Develop implementation plans with development team
* Ensure compliance with architecture, technical and security standards
* Participate in finding ways to increase efficiency, minimize operating expense and improve system performance Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelors of Science or Computer Science
* Minimum 5 years of experience in data management with very large databases
* Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle, ETL tools
* Minimum 2 years of experience with Ab Initio Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
