Lead IT Project Manager (GE Centricity)
117699- We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to work for a top Healthcare provider in the Boston area. This team is responsible for a large GE Centricity implementation and the follow-up support and enhancements. In this role, the Project Manager will oversee the work of assigned teams in order to achieve the deliverables outlined in the master project plan. To do this, the Project Manager will develop project charters and plans, collaboratively with teams, and then manage the work to achieve the desired outcome.
The project will establish a new platform using the GE Centricity Business Suite of Applications to provide comprehensive operational functionality, robust reporting tools, and innovative integration features that will maintain and grow current and new affiliations throughout the state of Massachusetts. Key to the project's success will be to oversee business process redesign across the organization with the goal of adopting the GE best practices and simplifying processes though consistent, repeatable workflows and procedures that support the ability to meet federal and state requirements while maintaining the ability to provide exceptional care without exception throughout the Boston metropolitan area.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience. Masters Degree is a plus.
Project Management Institute (PMI) - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Qualified candidates must have previous IDX / GE experience in a Healthcare setting.
Successful candidates will have experience as a Project Manager in implementation of large scale information systems.
5+ years planning and implementation management in Healthcare, Technology, Financial systems, or Clinical systems.
5+ years of strong Human Relations skills to interface with Executive Management and staff at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to successfully complete IT projects.
Strong knowledge and successful completion of the overall planning, implementation, and infrastructure methodology used by vendors such as GE, Cerner and Epic.
Experience managing implementations in a dynamic and highly integrated organization.
Solid working knowledge, skills, and understanding of project and program management techniques and technologies.
Experience integrating HIPAA, Joint Commission, and other Healthcare regulatory requirements.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage complex IT projects.
Able to perform budget planning, project planning and resource management for projects.
Able to prioritize work with an appreciation and understanding of organizational drivers, mission, critical objectives and budgetary expectations.
