What does the job entail?
Manage the development and design of new .Net-based products and services Participate with industry partners in the development of prototypical systems implementing emerging technologies and protocols. Represent with industry partners in the development of systems supporting next-generation Internet solutions. Must be able to work independently to:
· Gather and synthesize project requirements · Develop project implementation plans · Design, Develop, and Maintain new enterprise level infrastructure systems · Guide projects through the full development life cycle · Guide and mentor less experienced software developers
Skills/Requirements
Do you have what it takes? Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field 8+ years of hands-on programming experience in team environments working on distributed systems Proficiency in .Net and other Web Development Technologies Strong knowledge of complex distributed systems Strong knowledge of Internet protocols and emerging standards Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, database design, and normalization techniquesCapable of producing effective designs Strong understanding of the development life cycle Strong attention to detail Strong troubleshooting skills Distributed application development in a multi-platform environment Strong desire to learn emerging technologies and to innovate new solutions Strong communication skills Team player capable of working independently Performance/Load/Stress test for highly available and highly concurrent systems Mature, independent, yet receptive to team participationWhy is it worth it?
