Lead Oracle Database administrator with PeopleSoft experience * Excellent knowledge in Oracle Database Administration. * Peoplesoft Administrator Experience a Plus, specifically for supporting major applications (HCM 9.0, CRM 9.0, ELM 9.0 Enterprise Portal), including production support, implementation and upgrade efforts. * Analyze issues with SQR's, Peoplecode, Application Engine, Process Schedulers, Application Servers, Application Messaging and Web Servers. * Develop, Tune and debug SQL Statements within Query, Application Engine, and native SQL. * Worked closely with the client manager to understand Database requirements. * Progressive leadership roles * Ability to build strong relationships with customers * Ability to master new technology and applications needed * Experience supporting customers that are distributed throughout the world * Project Management * Responsible for maintenance, performance tuning, patching, and backups/recoveries of Oracle Database. * Responsible for environment creation, requesting database refreshes, change management, migration of objects/code, performance tuning and production support. * Assist with capacity planning, Disaster Recovery and load balancing activities. * Implementing and maintaining application security. * Acquire, administer and apply application patches. Insure application code and patches are migrated and proper procedures are followed to ensure consistency and quality in the system.
