JOB DESCRIPTION:
On the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) program, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
. Porting software to a new platform.
. Verification of system on the target platform.
. Coordinating design and execution of project over multiple phases.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
. BS Degree in Computer Science, a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience
. 5+ years relevant work
. Detailed knowledge of time-critical applications and embedded operating systems
. Hands-on expertise with C/C++, LINUX and Green Hills Integrity OS
. In depth understanding and experience with network protocols with emphasis on large-scale simulations
. Familiarity with software defined radio systems and JTRS applications
. Self starter, well organized and detail oriented
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
. MS Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
. 10+ years relevant work
. Software development for one or more JTRS applications
. Current DoD Secret Clearance
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance are required for the position.
