Job Description: Development Operations in Informatica is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Senior Software Engineer with a desire to work on the development of tools/products to improve development productivity. Candidate should be hands-on and capable of working with a hybrid, global team.
Responsibilities:
* Setting up and maintaining web servers and websites
* Design, create and maintain Java and c++ applications
* Creating and maintaining utilities to manage release build processes, extensible and easily maintainable software
* Evaluating, researching, setting up, presenting new technologies which include: core Java , eclipse plugin,
* Support strategic concepts and develop programs supporting customers tactical and long term needs.
* Build systems and tools that aid the development process and improve development productivity.

* 5 to 10 years of IT experience.
* Knowledge of software development life cycle and build automation processes.
* Strong grasp on object oriented designs, design patterns and concepts
* Proven development experience using core Java, Eclipse pluin development
* Quick learner with an ability to leverage new technologies
* Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle is a plus
* Good organizational, planning and time management skills
* Independently oversee multiple projects from start to completion.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
