Job Description: The position is suited for highly motivated and energetic individuals with a desire to work on the development of high-performance products. You will work on delivering new products/product features in an environment that spans all flavors of Unix/Windows operating systems. You will work across multiple product lines and deliver solutions that benefit customer with consistent functionality across multiple products.
Research and development includes areas such as: . SOA (service oriented architecture) frameworks and services. . Advanced data processing techniques across architectures like SMP, Cluster and Grid systems. . Scalable, highly available and high performance multi-threaded servers. . Advanced data processing transformations . Product extensibility, including SDK/API definition for metadata, data and management components of products . Real-time and transactional data integration across heterogeneous systems.
You should have prior experience dealing with full product development lifecycles and multiple releases of large enterprise software products.
Required Skills: ? BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science. ? Strong programming skills (C/C++/Java) and expertise in multi-threaded development. ? Design experience with product engineering background involving development of backend of enterprise products such as OS kernel, distributed file server, web servers, application servers, TP monitors and so on. ? Object oriented design and programming. ? Proven expertise in leading a team in Java/C++ based product development and expertise in multi-threaded development. ? Hands-on experience in using tools which help in analyzing, optimizing, and troubleshooting systems and system related technology in order to guide the team on areas like Java performance optimization for the product ? Understanding of Modeling Concepts, UML, MOF. ? XML and Web Services Technologies: XQuery, SOAP/WSDL/UDDI ? Understanding of Unix/NT systems programming ? Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
