Description
This is a unique opportunity to work on the Administration tool for all Informatica services on the new and improved Informatica Services Platform. Informatica Administrator is the de-facto tool for managing, configuring and monitoring all Informatica Services. The tool is implemented using AJAX technology and presents multiple challenges on performance, usability against a rich feature set that helps administrators in trouble shooting and maintaining the deployed services.
Candidate will be able to architect, design, and develop thin client solutions using the state of the art technologies. Duties will include creation of software specifications, architectures and designs, and development of software. Candidate will work within a cross-functional product development team through all steps of the development process to produce high quality and robust business software that fully meet customer requirements.
Research and development includes areas such as
* Usage of thin client technologies like AJAX, JavaScript etc
* Design and development of cool graphical UI used in creating all aspects of data integration.
* Customized interfaces for various data integration technologies
Required Skills: Qualifications
* Ideal candidate will have 4 - 6 years industry experience in:
* developing mission critical software components
* Object oriented design and programming
* Java programming skills
* User interface design
* AJAX programming
* Thin client technologies like JSP, JavaScript and servlets
* BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
* Strong data structures and problem solving skills.
* Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong Experience in the full product lifecycle.
* Strong Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration and Data Integration
* Proficiency in Relational databases and SQL programming
* Proficiency in XML ,XSLT and Wed-Service
Desirable
* Exposure to the AGILE development methodology
* Experience with Win32
* Experience with JUnit or other Java unit testing tools.
