Lead Victim Advocate is empowered to handle specified matters within their assigned site, including supervisory, managerial, and administrative tasks. They are responsible for ensuring effective and efficient program administration at the local site. Ensures the availability of 24-hour victim advocacy services either through personal or telephone contact. They serve as the primary point of contact for the program at the site location.
1. Collects and completes all required reports, statistics, and briefings for the Victim Advocates. 2. Ensures that the emotional, social and safety needs of their clients and/or the clients' family are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. 3. Provides crisis intervention and assists families in understanding the implications and complexities of domestic violence. 4. Collaborate with the Family Advocacy Program (FAP), the Army Community Service Family Advocacy Program Manager (FAPM), law enforcement, legal and medical facilities, and the command to assure safety plans are coordinated. 5. Oversees and coordinate work teams and coordination of work and maintenance of work load for contract staff, i.e. time sheets, reports, customer service evaluations.
1. Requires BS/BA degree. 2. Preferred, a Bachelor's degree and be a Licensed Counselor.
1. Requires 0-2 years experience. Perferred 3-5 years of experience. 2. Experience monitoring workloads among team members and coordination of work and maintenance of work load for staff, i.e. reports, customer service evaluations 3. Experience in conducting surveys at all levels of management
1. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. 2. Strong organizational skills, strong analytical and communication skills. Able to work collaboratively with other organizations is required. 3. MS Office Proficiency desired. 4. Excellent customer service focus and response to needs.
