Description Essential IT Services, Inc is an Information Technology Managed Services Provider, outsourcing full service IT technical support services to small and medium sized businesses primarily in the Wichita and Central Kansas areas, with some branch office support in Nebraska, Missouri and Colorado.
The Level 1 Network Technician will provide IT Technical support services to a wide variety of customers utilizing state of the art/best in class remote management and monitoring tools and will make onsite calls to the customer’s location as required.
Key Responsibilities Personal Computer Support:
Install, maintain, support, troubleshoot operating systems and a wide variety of software applications, peripheral devices and network connectivity issues
Integrate with hardware and software vendors when required to provide end user support
Server Support:
Integrate with hardware and software vendors when required to provide end user support
Network Support:
Perform all Network Administration tasks on Microsoft Windows Servers and Networks
Install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot various network hardware including routers, switches, etc
Run telephone and network cables in new and existing structures. Terminate cable on both ends, test cables for proper operation
Qualifications The successful applicant will have the following experience/certifications:
High School Diploma
Minimum 1 year experience as a full time IT Professional
Prior experience in trouble desk support preferred
Experience in remote technical support a plus
Microsoft MCP Certification highly desired
Compensation Compensation Package includes hourly wage and monthly incentive pay Base wages up to $10+ per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience Monthly incentive pay up to $400 per month
