We are currently seeking a Sr. Systems Programmer to support the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, MD. Candidate must have recent hands-on experience with HP LoadRunner preferably working recently in a large enterprise sized environment. The scope of this project will be to perform overall load testing lifecycle management for multiple projects and to assist with establishing best practices. REQUIRED DUTIES: * Use the HP Performance Center tool to capture a script of the functions under test in the target application. * Modify the script for load testing purposes. * Create robust scripts to test and automate reporting of monitored applications using C or Visual Basic. * Provide analysis and recommendations of load test modifications and final recommendations of possible DMA infrastructure and application modifications * Install and maintain the BAC/RUM monitoring software. * Configure the monitoring tool, dashboard screens, reports and alerts based on site code, region, site name, legacy system used, or any other criteria deemed necessary by SSA. * Provide engineering support for the system monitoring infrastructure * Manage development and testing of capabilities to monitor new conditions. * Support engineering activities relating to new tools, capabilities, and the integration of tools to address future needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience and possess a strong working knowledge and hands on experience with following technologies: Loadrunner (writing, editing and running C language scripts); Java applications and basic UNIX box.
