Position Details
CTG has a job opportunity for a Mainframe System Programmer located in Columbia, SC.
Mainframe Systems Programmer with proficient in depth knowledge and administrator experience with Connect:Direct and Cyberfusion data transport products. Products will run on both zOS and zLinux environments.
Install/customize mainframe communications software that include but limited to the following:
Connect:Direct (zOS and zLinux operating systems)
Cyberfusion (zOS and zLinux operating systems)
VTAM
Netview
TPX
TCPIP
Enterprise Extender
Duties also include providing support to other IS areas and customers where applicable for host communications. Perform Traces as requested. Document host communications infrastructure by utilizing Microsoft Office products including Visio. Plan/participate in disaster recovery exercises and potential disaster events. Participate in on-call rotation within host communications group.
