Environmental and Combustion Controls (ECC) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our San Diego, CA facility.
Job Duties:
* Demonstrates Proficient / Effective use of skills in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Areas Including: Troubleshooting, Repair & Replacement of machine components.
* Responsible for Preventive Maintenance and adjustment to standard and automated equipment.
* Partner's with Manufacturing Leadership to assure goals related to delivery are met through accurate repairs and machine performance.
* Works closely with Engineering to provide strategic feedback to implement continuous improvement goals related to production performance.
* Analyses the Department's Operation and Recommends changes to Supervisors.
* Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals.
* Performs Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
* Performs computer based programming support for automated equipment.
Other Job Duties / Qualifications:
* Preferred background is that of minimum 5-8 years Journeyman Level experience in Millwright, Maintenance, or Electrical with Mechanical background in a Manufacturing Environment.
* Must have strong troubleshooting skills and can work with minimal supervision.
* Must provide proven history in Mechanical/Electrical experience related to equipment repair.
* Skills related to Robotics and/or Automation is desired.
Machines, Tools, Equipment Used:
* All Electrical Troubleshooting Tools.
* All hand and power tools.
* Forklift, Man Lift, Crain.
* Lathes and Mills.
Basic Qualifications:
* 5 years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
* High School or GED.
Additional Qualifications:
* 5 years Journeyman Level experience in Millwright, Maintenance, or Electrical with Mechanical background in a Manufacturing Environment
* Strong troubleshooting skills and can work with minimal supervision
