Overview:
The Management Analyst shall be responsible for conducting program management services described in this PWS. The designated Management Analyst shall possess all of the demonstrated knowledge requirements delineated below, as verified by a signed and dated resume by the individual and a corporate executive.


Responsibilities:
1. Assist customers requesting services from internal and external providers. Gather information and develop specifications/product expectations for customer project requests. Identify possible sources of required services, systems and equipment, and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFP). Assist in the assessment of returned documents and the awarding of project business. Coordinate activities with appropriate, internal business units responsible for acquisitions, contract negotiations and final approvals.
2. Act as designated liaison with the Information Technology Department in performing systems analysis of division/office processes.
3. Conduct presentations on computerization plans, needs and budget. Informs senior managers and administrators of technological requirements, goals and objectives, and industry trends.
4. Coordinates and participates in feasibility and systems studies of a highly technical nature and advises on the capabilities of systems/technologies being considered for implementation. Prepares study reports on findings and recommendations.
5. Prepare cost estimates for projects that recommend the acquisition of new equipment and support technologies and expected cost savings and other benefits from recommendations made. Primary liaison between customer and service providers (internal and external) for all approved projects.
6. Prepare and update project schedules and the installation/configuration of authorized technology and process solutions; integrate planned activities with all affected division/office operations to minimize business disruptions. Monitor multiple projects including planning and implementing new computer equipment, sites and services. Monitor and evaluates progress and success or failure of project.
7. Maintain current knowledge of technological advancements and trends in the computer arena. Develop and continue to expand a detailed understanding of customer business and operations. Periodically review current and future business processes and recommend possible project activity.

8. Depending on the individual work assignment and personal skills, leadership may be exercised over support staff assigned to a project, or general guidance provided a project team.


Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: The Management Analyst shall have a minimum of a bachelors degree or at least 24 semester hours in the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance, Management, Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Math

Experience Requirements - The Management Analyst shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in conducting program management support activities as described in this PWS

Additional Required Knowledge and Skills: In addition to the experience and educational requirements described above, the Management Analyst shall possess the following knowledge and skills:
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical and cost data.
Ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives.
