Job Duties: Under the general direction of the BITS Bureau Director, this position serves as the deputy IT director and is responsible for providing direction and leadership to the day to day information technology operations for Department of Transportation (DOT). The Management Information Manager provides leadership in establishing and implementing industry standard ITIL processes appropriate for DOT. They will direct the implementation and monitoring of IT metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of IT. The Management Information Manager will also direct the implementation and monitoring of service level agreements to meet customer expectations, as well as direct the bureau support staff, and is responsible for a number of administrative and technical tasks that facilitate effective business operations. The Management Information Manager will develop high performance IT teams, ensuring optimal effectiveness of IT staff and resources, including facilities. They will align the technology resources with departmental needs, and establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
