Job Description: The IT organization builds and supports the network infrastructure and the reliable, cost-effective systems and applications that enable Cisco to do business. Its mission involves carefully balancing architecture, standards and innovation. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
? Manages a competency hub for the Oracle ERP with global implications or direct responsibility. ? Builds effective relationships with business functions on a worldwide executive level, in partnership with IT peers. ? Initiates and leads IT improvement initiatives on a worldwide basis. ? Build/enhance worldwide delivery capabilities. ? May be responsible for management of multiple budgets and projects ? Participates with other managers to establish strategic direction and actively leads strategic initiatives.
Typically requires BS degree in Business, CS or equivalent plus 12+ years related experience. 7+ years management experience with equivalent sized organizations (Fortune 500).MS or MBA preferred.
In depth knowledge of multiple points of business or/and technical skill set to be managed. Given: - Manages all levels of exempt employees, and project managers. Responsible for planning, budgeting, implementing and maintaining costs, methods and employees.
- Works independently and participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. - Makes final decisions to ensure effective achievement of objectives. - Ability to deliver results. - Oral and written communication skills. - Team building. - Advanced financials. - Business knowledge. - Organizational strategy. - Strategic leadership. - Manages multiple projects, project managers and/or lower level IT Managers. - Typically reports to Sr Manager, Director, IT Regularly interacts with management at the Director and VP level. - Interactions require the ability to influence and persuade other senior level managers regarding complex and/or controversial situations. - Lead and direct multiple team functions to support multiple IT functions or areas of business. - Impact is worldwide and significant. - Ability to identify and engage proper resources to resolve problems. - Ability to engage individuals across multiple organizations or companies to resolve problems. Recruit, develop and retaining individuals and project managers. - Delivery of IT services to multiple areas of business or specific IT function. - High level of dept(s) budget accountability. - Builds effective relationships with business functions on a worldwide executive level, in partnership with IT peers. - Initiate and lead IT improvement initiatives on a worldwide basis.
