We are currently looking for a Managing Consultant to join our Central Security Advisory Practice located in Skokie, IL. JOB SUMMARY:
Lead project implementation and oversight of security management program implementations at client sites including data protection, perimeter, compliance and eDiscovery security solutions.
The Managing Consultant will be responsible for assessing and architecting the selection of security controls to meet our customers' legal, regulatory, and contractual compliance.
Responsible for the development of sales collateral, project implementation methodology, and sample deliverables. Routinely performs executive-level program management activities for high-value security projects, with the goal of managing client expectations while seeking to expand the scope of services and products offered.
This role includes responsibilities for managing the proposal process for the security solutions business, as well as approval of SOWs and pricing models that fall within pre-defined guidelines.
Finally, role has responsibility for managing the quality assurance process for deliverables within the assigned domain.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly serves in the lead consultant role on a project team to provide guidance to other team members. Serve as the executive program manager with responsibility for managing client expectations for specific security projects, while seeking and fostering additional opportunities with the specific clients. As part of this role, is responsible for managing the quality assurance process to deliver quality on-time deliverables. Consistently achieve outstanding Customer Satisfaction results on all consulting engagements by following project manager and technical lead consultant direction.
Directly interact with clients, account managers and Forsythe presales architects to identify, qualify, and validate client requirements for technology solutions. Create proposals and contractually sound Statements of Work (SOW), solution work estimates, and total solution pricing for profitable post-sales delivery integration, implementation and delivery. Provide significant and demonstrated services solution sales to meet practice GPM goals.
Staff Management and Resource management; ensuring engagement success and appropriate use of practice tools, methodology, deliverable preparation, and client presentation. Support activities that drive practice delivery through the management of employees and sub-contactors
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or technology related field; or 6 years equivalent industry experience required
Master's degree preferred
CISSP certification required
Direct client facing IT Security consulting experience at the large enterprise level required . Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
10 years of IT security experience required; with previous security systems engineering/administration experience
Compliance experience with ISO, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, or FISMA/NIST required
Previous experience leading teams in excess of three people
Experience implementing and troubleshooting security product including perimeter, data protection, compliance and/or eDiscovery with skill sets around event log management, web application firewalls, encryption and Network access control.
Previous presales exposure: gathering client requirements, proposing technology solutions, writing Statements of Work or contracts, and winning technology services business
