Manufacturing Technology Analyst 2

Writes manufacturing work planning for walkup work and initiates changes or corrections to planning orders when needed. Provides technical and administrative assistance to sub-assembly and final assembly manufacturing managers to monitor and control the distribution of jobs released to the shop floor. Coordinates and communicates with electrical and mechanical engineering, program management, manufacturing, procurement and supplier management, quality, and shop floor to ensure jobs in-work have the most current documentation and drawings. Manage and track non-traditional work within the shop and ensure work is followed through to completion. Assists in the development of production proposal activities. Works under general supervision.

Ability to differentiate production (manufacturing) processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.

General knowledge of desktop procedures to ensure that documents are maintained under configuration control.

• Engineering Drawings & Specs
General ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have experience with basic assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, etc) ?

Do you have experience with the responsibilities and tasks performed by a manufacturing operations or electrical assembly organization?

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Job related information
Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and multi-level team environment. Prefer knowledge of, or experience in manufacturing processes, product specifications, requirements planning, configuration control, hardware tracking, and performance metrics. Requires working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. Prefer working knowledge of production software applications such as GOLD, HMS CAPP, HMS Shop Floor Manager, and MES.
