Job Description The Market Positioning Analyst is responsible for ensuring the market forecast database is maintained accurately; evaluates and reports market database for current year and future year order/revenue projections; identifies new opportunities via existing customer databases and ensures metrics associated with Business Development are maintained
Responsibilities/Duties:
. Responsible for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and maintaining market data, as well as maintaining information databases . Dissects and reports data from industry sources . Organizes and interprets data, identifying trends, gaps, etc . Responsible for identifying new opportunities via existing customer databases . Maintains and interprets order input forecast and produces substantiated recommendations. Required Experience: . Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four year college or university required . Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. . Must have demonstrated strong business development and strategic planning skills. . Solid understanding of statistics and financial analysis. . Strong critical-thinking skills. . Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of tasks and multiple priorities. . Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. . Must have proficient computer skills including ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word. . Must be able to work under short deadlines and able to handle frequent change . Must be able graphically display the information and succinctly communicate the critical information
