And they need the elasticity to be able to scale their infrastructure up and down to meet dynamic business needs. That's the focus of our Enterprise Business division.
We are currently looking for a writing intern to work with the Enterprise Business global marketing communications team. The intern will assist in the writing and editing of marketing and sales collateral, including brochures, white papers, data sheets, website copy, presentations, and quick-reference cards.
Examples of functions and responsibilities: * Write copy based on technical content provided by WW and regional experts. * Research technical topics and develop text to include in marketing and sales collateral. * Communicate daily with our writing team in Bangalore, India (by phone and email), working side-by-side on writing assignments. * Interview subject experts and write new collateral based on the interview and/or recommend additions and changes to existing collateral. * Edit existing collateral and suggest enhancements, revisions, and corrections. * Introduce new ideas for content strategy in marketing and sales collateral. * Execute on at least 2-3 new projects, taking them from start to finish. * Work closely with an experienced peer writer to develop and fine-tune copy. The successful candidate WILL be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree and have the following qualifications: * Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical writing, business writing, communication, or a related area of study. * Excellent command of written and verbal English. * Proficiency in editing and proofreading (as demonstrated in a brief editing test). * Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. * Willing to learn new skills and concepts. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. * Strong interest in emerging trends in computer technology. * Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
