Description 

Job Summary: An exciting opportunity for a dynamic, accomplished marketing leader to support the business strategy and objectives of CSC's banking division with effective marketing strategies and plans. This leader will increase CSC's global market penetration and market position in consulting, software, and IT and business process outsourcing and services by creating and driving high-impact marketing activities, including brand and market awareness, market messaging and demand generation programs. Preferred that the Marketing Director reside close to Austin, Texas; Dallas, Texas is also an option. Travel requirement is less than 25%.  

Essential Job Functions:

• Directs market research initiatives, collects market data and performs complex analyses on existing and potential markets to determine the competitiveness of our global solutions and offerings.
• Directs the go-to-market plans and execution of solution positioning, messaging, demand generation, marketing communications, social media outreach and other initiatives.
• Collaborates globally to create pro-active, innovative and creative plans and activities across existing and future integrated marketing and social media channels.
• Develops metrics driven B2B marketing programs that are customized and aligned to marketing best practices in specific geographies and global regions.
• Monitors marketing and social media activity, identifying key trends, executing responsive marketing and social media activities, and recommending ways to improve our presence and effectiveness.
• Works with subject matter experts in the business to stimulate creation of thought leadership and leverage it effectively
• Provides on-going marketing best practices and education to continually improve the marketing team's expertise in optimizing CSC's position with financial services industry clients and prospects worldwide.
• Determines relevant set of marketing campaign stats, Web stats, media and analyst impact, etc. to collect, track and report; analyze and adjust demand generation activities if necessary.

Qualifications 

Basic Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Master's degree in related field preferred
• Fifteen or more years of related experience
• Nine or more years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity included
• Experience working with past and present CSC business environment
• Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibility
• Experience working with the management implications of various forms of financial data

Other Qualifications:

• Strong background in solutions marketing with proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies, programs and activities resulting in measurable business results
• Background in cards, payments, banking, software, solutions, or consulting
• Hands-on immersion and experience in social and/or interactive media to build brand awareness, customer relationships and lead generation
• Role model who sets the bar and mentors others to assure team rises to necessary level of excellence
• Adept at managing tasks, prioritizing and meeting deadlines, and working across organizational boundaries for results
• Strong communication skills needed to interface with high-level client representatives
• Strong strategic management and planning skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in international marketing roles or previous international marketing positions
• Ability to publicly represent company with internal and external clients
• Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
