Mechanical & Structural Engineer Manager K

Mechanical and Structural Engineering K Level Manager for the V-22 Osprey Fuel Systems and Environmental Control Systems IPT (Integrated Product Team). Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering Design. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. IPT leader will be the CAM for the IPT. Responsibilities include the Business and Financial Control Accounts for this IPT, including performing the necessary cost and schedule review and updates.

Technical

• Budgeting/Estimating
General knowledge of budgeting tools (e.g., cost benefit analysis, estimates-at-completion [EAC]) and estimating techniques, used to provide direction to non-management employees.

• MSE Management Tech Knowledge
Complete knowledge or relevant vehicle mechanical Systems, Structural and payloads design and analysis which typically includes one or more of the following areas: Static and dynamic loads analysis, fluid systems design and analysis, Thermal design and analysis, Mechanical system design and analysis, Structural design and analysis, Vehicle test, qualification and certification, Interior/crew station and cargo systems design and analysis, Rotorcraft dynamic systems design and analysis. Spacecraft flight systems, Satellite systems, Engineering process and tool development and implementation, and Ordnance design and analysis.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration
