Medicaid Reference Maintenance Clerk
Title: Medicaid Reference Maintenance Clerk Location: Georgia - Tucker * Assist client with reference data maintenance system updates of procedure codes, diagnoses, revenue codes, etc. * Moderate judgment may be used to supplement the outlined process. * Participates in projects for process or quality improvements. * Work is reviewed periodically by Supervisor or Team Lead.
Position Prerequisites:High school education or equivalent. Help Desk coordinator candidates should be able to demonstrate good communication and customer service skills. Prior understanding of health insurance claims processing is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills: * Superior skills in both written and verbal communication * Computer proficiency with applicable software applications (for example Microsoft Office) * Problem solving skills * Accuracy in data entry * Excellent fluency in language to be supported. * Experience in a phone based remote role, esupport, e-chat or similar * Familiarity with computer technology * Knowledgeable in call routing and case management processes as well as case logging systems and obligation systems * Understands internal processes and tools * Medicaid Claims experience is a Plus * Medical Billing/Coding experience is a plus
