Description
Key Role: Maintain responsibility for planning, designing, and implementing enterprise network core services for high profile DoD customers. Integrate and implement core network system services including, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, SMS, identification and authentication systems, VMware virtualized environments, storage area networks, network attached storage, information assurance policy implementation, messaging and collaboration services, and other core network services and software packages commonly used by commercial and government organizations. Analyze and select appropriate server hardware and software to meet the customer's support and growth requirements, install and configure Microsoft Active Directory, virtualized environments, storage systems, and miscellaneous software packages, as required, and design and implement information security policies to meet the customer's information assurance policy requirements. This position is located in Lexington Park, MD.
Position Description: Review, plan, evaluate, and troubleshoot network systems. Provide network and project documentation and management reporting. Recommend improvements to the network based on analytical review. Define network improvements and tactical strategies. Act as a subject matter expert. May have project and supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: -9+ years of experience with implementing, integrating, and troubleshooting Microsoft server systems, including Active Directory and Exchange -3+ years of experience with implementing DoD information security policies on Microsoft networks and products -Active Top Secret clearance -CCNA, CCNP, or MCSE 2003 Certifications
Additional Qualifications: -BA or BS degree
