Major Responsibilities and day to day activities and/or objective for the role:
We are looking for a Microsoft SQL Architect
This position will:
- Experienced in stored procedure optimization - Implementing database stored procedures and batch jobs - Developing and maintaining any data integration modules for extract, transform and load - Providing data extracts and other data for analytical and technical testing purposes - Designing and implementation (current and enhanced) of the logical and physical data models and designs required to support information delivery. - Working with all relevant resources to design conceptual, logical and physical data models - Using the logical models and work with the Database Administrator to define the physical tables, indexes, triggers, constraints, stored procedures, storage parameters, and other database-specific constructs needed to store, retrieve, manipulate and delete objects. - Understanding nuances of the SQL-compliant RDBMS' used by the enterprise (e.g. MS SQL Server) and relevant development languages (TSQL) and related toolsets (e.g. DTS) - Using SQL Server 2005/2008 database with T-SQL

- Database, Design, modeling, and mapping - Performance tuning - Complex stored procedures - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
