">Description:

The Microstrategy Developer will design and develop applications using the MicroStrategy 9 developer tool including the MicroStrategy SDK. They will communicate with business owners, users, and IT professionals with equal ease to create and preserve the functional integrity of the solution. They will analyze the user interaction to manage and grow enterprise relational data models, logical data models based on experience with other analytic reporting tools such as Cognos, Business Objects, ROLAP, BRIO, Crystal Reports or Microsoft Reporting Services. They must have the ability to use their analytical skills and the ability to operate in a team environment for strong process management, time management, quality and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
' Communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, all levels of management and client to obtain user requirements and provide creative thought to identify resolution of business challenges associated to data and report leveraging MicroStrategy 9.
' Will be expected to effectively develop reports, documents, and dynamic dashboards in MicroStrategy version 9 and Microsoft Office products.
' Lead, manage, and develop business information specialists in the support of business reporting needs.
' Administer MicroStrategy implementations, including all aspects of user and security
' Develop reporting MicroStrategy metadata including all project configuration for schema, dimensions, metrics etc.
' Develop, document, and maintain functional test and data accuracy planning.
' Work with the team to ensure the quality of data is in coordination business functions and contractual requirements.
' Respond quickly and effectively manage production issues from discovery through resolution.
' Participate in project planning or information requirements by providing scope and effort estimates.
' Manage report subscriptions through Microstrategy Distribution Services to internal and external users
' Drive education of business information tools and accessibility to increase user self-service and tool adoption.
' Support design, engineering and architecture for enterprise-scale Business Intelligence dashboards and reports utilizing a MicroStrategy platform optimized by using SQL Server Integration Services ETL packaging.
' Support enterprise BI/DW solutions including logical and physical data models
' Support business information requirements as needed.









Job Requirements Qualifications:
' 1-3 years Business Intelligence design and development experience, with majority of experience in MicroStrategy including advanced report, dashboard and hierarchy/metric creation experience.
' Experience in a customer service or call center environment preferred.
' Microstrategy Certified Project Designer and/or Report Developer is preferred
Must have excellent software design and documentation skills
' Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
' Must have excellent organization skills
' Ability to debug application data delivered and supported calculated metrics.
' Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
' Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
' Microstrategy Object Manager and Integrity Manager Experience
' Experience in relational data modeling, logical data modeling and/or other analytic reporting tools such as Cognos, Business Objects, ROLAP, BRIO, Crystal Reports, SQL or Microsoft Reporting Services is a plus.
' A sound general knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling (particularly relational and logical) a plus.
' Knowledge of MicroStrategy administration, tuning and platform sizing a plus
' MicroStrategy architectural experience and ETL is a plus
' MicroStrategy project configuration and administration configuration experience is a plus
