MicroStrategy Report Developer MicroStrategy Report Developer is responsible for the definition and delivery of BI reporting throughout the company. This role will ensure the stability, integrity and system performance of our BI environment. Technical skills: * Windows Server 2005 * SQL Server 2005 * Micro Strategy V-8 * Desktop, Architect, Administrator, Web Reporting & Administration, Report Services, Performance tuning, query optimization, and trouble-shooting Interpersonal Skills: * Excellent oral and written skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Must be a self-starter and possess project ownership skills * Excellent analytical skills Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for all BI and reporting needs. Develop and maintain new and existing Microstrategy grids, documents, filters, facts, metrics and templates. Work with Business Analysts to define and execute a report development life cycle to be used by the organization for new and existing reports. Perform system updates and upgrades while following corporate change control policy. This includes user acceptance testing and documentation. Work with management and user groups to create custom reporting as needed. Maintain application and database maintenance as recommended by software vendors. Respond to support calls and provide technical assistance to user community Create appropriate documentation for both the IT department and end-users Assist in system training efforts. Administer security access roles and levels. Requirements: 3 - 5 years experience in supporting a Micro Strategy BI environment 3-5 years Microsoft Sql experience.
