Mid Level Java Developer
A member of our Technical Services Division, located in Orlando, FL, has an opportunity for a
Mid Level Java Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Work as a member of a Northrop Grumman TS team supporting the OneSAF Production team in maintenance, integration and enhancements to the OneSAF C2 Adapter for new functionality. We are seeking a highly motivated person to serve as a Java Developer to design, develop, document, test, and debug the OneSAF C2 Adapter to add new functionality and fix PTRs as required by the OneSAF Production contract via updates to application software with strong Java skills executing on Linux and Windows. Ensures software standards are met. Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of medium to hard scope and complexity. Works under minimal general supervision. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Performance and decision making critical to the success of this time sensitive development program. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts and support required on continual basis. Very minimal travel anticipated.
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• B.S./ M.A. in related field required
• Must have simulations, modeling, OOA/OOD experience and strong networking skills
• Excellent and well founded, written and oral communication skills are absolutely essential
• Requires a familiarity with Subversion, XML, SOA, J2EE, & Web Server / Client applications
• Minimum of 6 years Java (Windows and Linux), XML, Subversion, OOD experience required
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience using PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret level security clearance to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• OneSAF experience is a plus.
• Experience in networking is highly desirable.
• Experience with Army C2 Device is preferred.
• General OneSAF and C2 Adapter development expertise and experience is desired.
• Knowledge of CS 11/12 and JCR requirements and implementation is highly preferred.
