SUMMARY OF ROLE An exciting opportunity to work on a new initiative to build sales desktop that will be responsible for revenue and performance reporting within a complete desktop solution for the sales force globally. The candidate will work in a medium project team involved in the rapid design and development of various modules & functionality within a distributed model. The candidate's main responsibilities include: * Design and development of presentation layer. * Design and develop rich client and server-side application, including, services and messaging components. * Collaborate in the design and implementation of communication layer between presentation and middle-tier components and between middle-tier and backend systems
The position requires using and interfacing with different technologies and products, and we expect the candidate to be productive rapidly, therefore the candidate must be a quick learner and a good team player.
Minimum Requirements: Education: BS or MS in Computer science or relevant degree/diploma
Technical Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in building .NET based high performing/scalable User Interfaces Strong understanding and experience in .NET/C# and experience in developing using WinForms/WPF Experience in building generic GUI frameworks that are used to develop fast, scalable, flexible UIs Experience creating and consuming web services from .NET server-side code and Windows services. Server side development experience is required. Experience with Oracle is preferred; ability to write/tune complex SQL.
Other Skills: * Investment Banking or Financial Services experience * Should have full development life-cycle experience * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong inter-personal skills and ability to communicate and work effectively within in a global team environment * Results oriented * Good communication skills * Proficiency with MS Office application suite
