We are currently seeking a talented Mobile Device Applications Developer. This position is responsible for design, development and maintenance of a complex Windows Mobile application. We are seeking a highly motivated Mobile Applications Developer to join our team in building the next generation of automated fuel delivery software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include but are not limited to the following • Design, develop and maintains all FuelEdge System mobile applications • Maintain back-office applications for the FuelEdge System. • Provide expertise and research in existing and emerging mobile device technologies. • Perform research, develop specifications, estimates, architect and perform programming to support new versions of Windows Mobile, additional mobile devices and additional external hardware devices. • Provide technical assistance for developing new requirements, change requests and isolating application bugs. • Provide assistance with quality test planning, test coordination and test failure remediation. • Set-up and perform production deployment, assist in problems with setting up production devices, provide assistance with trouble-shooting and proof-of-concept development/testing for existing mobile installs as well as new installations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.) • B.S in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other technical field. • Ideal candidate will have 5+ (3 minimum) in the following areas: Designing, coding, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting event-driven systems. Windows Mobile 5 & 6.5 and/or Windows Embedded Compact 6.0. • Must have experience working with Windows Mobile and Windows Embedded Compact • Requires a strong knowledge of each of the following: C#, .NET Compact Framework 3.5, multi-threading, SQL, XML, and data synchronization strategies. • Must have an excellent understanding of Object-Oriented programming. • Requires a strong knowledge of machine to machine and inter-device communications using IP and serial sockets programming. • Experience with industrial automation systems is a plus. • Working knowledge of any of the following is a plus: C++, Java, , IIS, electronics and electrical systems.
