Day to Day Work Provide System Administration support to the Communications Squadron at EAFB. Utilize disciplined system engineering methods to develop and sustain Comm Squadron Application Servers, File Servers, and HP Storage Array Network. Must be able to methodically analyze and manage systems requirements, develop and understand information system architectures/diagrams, integrate complex information systems, and sustain information systems and their baseline documentation in a disciplined manner. Must be able to communicate complex technical concepts in an effective manner to both peers and management. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Experience in the installation and sustainment of Windows 2003/2008 operating systems. Experience with HP commodity servers, HP blade servers, HP SAN/EVA 8x00, and HP Continuous Access Software is desirable. Knowledge with IIS 6.0/7.0, .Net, SQL Server, and/or VMWare is desirable. Experience with Sun Solaris OS and Oracle is desirable. Technical & Behavioral Skills 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Microsoft certification is desirable. Security + Certification is desirable
