Day to Day Work Performs tasks related to inspection and testing of project procedures and output to ensure that security and quality standards are met. Develops and refines processes related to security control and project failure identification.  Initiates corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies. Provides feedback on inspection and test trends, returns, and vendor performance. Participates in and may lead audits. Demonstrated Skills:  Must have experience (5 years) with Information System Auditing within the DoD/DoN IT infrastructures.  Must have  experience using the DoD 8500.2 IA Controls and the auditing requirements (5 years) .  Ability and experience to identify and evaluate the audit risk areas and provide key input to the development of the internal audit plan.  Experience (4 years) of managing IT audit projects and internal IT audit engagements of various complexities from planning and organizing the work, to supervising teams of varying sizes and the communication of results  Hands on experience with Mobile Armor and Data at Rest requirements within the DoD/DoN (5 years).  Understanding and experience in setting up Mobile Armor Data Armor, File Armor, Key Armor, Drive Armor, logs/reports and health monitor. Experience in execute audit engagement and perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, documenting client processes and procedures, conducting interviews, reviewing documents, developing and administering surveys, composing summary memos, and preparing working papers.  Hands on experience (4) years in identifying, developing, and documenting audit issues and recommendations for improvement using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed. Skills in communicating or assisting in communicating the results of an audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to management. IA Certification Requirement:  Must have CCSIP, SCNA, CISA, or GSE Certification Must have one of the following: MCSA, MCSE, MCITP-SA MCITP_EA or MCP Desired skills:  ITIL v3 Foundation certified.  CISA certification, approved Navy Certification Agent.  Knowledge of MSCâ?Ts IA policy, COMSCINST 5239.3b and DON DIACAP Handbook.  Possess other security, operating system, or IA-enabled device certification. EDUCATION: None Specified by government.  U.S. citizens required Clearance: Contractor personnel in IT-II positions must have completed a successful background investigation and have a Secret clearance.
