EDUCATION:

The NetApp Storage Engineer will work with database and application administrators in determining disk storage allocation, backup and restore requirements, and redundancy needs.
Position requires knowledge of the NetApp SAN and CIFS/ NFS product set including all of the following tasks: Creating Aggregates, Volumes, LUN's, iGroups, provisioning, upgrades, patching, growing volumes and working knowledge of Windows and Unix platforms.
Well versed in NetApp storage arrays, Cisco Fibre Channel and Ethernet switches (FC and iSCSI protocols).
Experience with NetApp Data Fabric Manager and Cisco Fabric Manager.
Familiar with Disaster Recovery methods and procedures, NetBackup Enterprise Vault.
5+ years experience with Oracle 10G, 11G
3+ years experience with Unix/Linux
Requires direct experience with developing ArcSight configurations to meet analyst correlation requirements as well as performing event quality maintenance tasks.
Ability to use problem-solving techniques, including root cause analysis to resolve issues.
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skill
