Our client, a major provider of medical services and products is looking for someone to join their wireless team as a part of their Aruba "wireless initiative." This person will be part of a group that is revamping the wireless infrastructure of our client. Our client will be deploying new Aruba 105 and 620 models and working to eventually bring 100 sites to wireless. The end users are the internal contacts network engineers, the desktop support department, help desk etc. plus the 2000 health clinics and teams that are on the ground to implement the hardware. If the project is implemented correctly, the clinics will move off of the old equipment and into a faster and more efficient wireless environment. The employee will be responsible for troubleshooting network outages with internet service providers and/or hardware vendors to isolate and resolve network outages. They will need to understand hardware procurement, staging, and deployment processes as they pertain to remote facility installations. The employee will need to have experience and be familiar with routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP and layer 2 protocols Spanning-Tree, Virtual Local Area Networks. They need experience configuring router platforms Cisco 1800 and 7300 series with VPN encryption software; layer 2 devices include Catalyst 1900 services and D-link switch platforms 1700, 2500, 3500 series. Our client wants someone with 2-3 years experience with Cisco routers and switches layer 2 and 3. Preferable, this person will have prior experience configuring and implementing Aruba Wireless product but will take any Cisco product as well. They need to have strong site to site VPN Gre skills.
