Network Enterprise Monitoring Architecture and Performance Specialist
The Network Enterprise Monitoring Architecture and Performance Specialist is responsible for leading and managing a team of network tools specialists responsible for analysis, deployment, and support of new and existing network management tools and architecture. This team is responsible for architecting and implementing solutions to perform network monitoring for all of Chrysler Group LLC's network and voice environments. Establish network monitoring strategy and roadmap. Integrate strategy and platform with overall system monitoring strategy for Chrysler. Optimize network management platform within the Chrysler environment. Provide operational support and central management for all network monitoring tools and equipment. Support the Network Operational Readiness and Network Impact Analysis activities. Support and lead the development of processes into HP Service Manager Toolset. Support and lead the team in research of new capabilities to provide competitive solutions, accomplish cost savings, and increase efficiencies. Support capital and maintenance contract planning, technology refreshes, and cost reduction initiatives. Work with vendors to ensure product direction is consistent with Chrysler's IT vision. Evaluate new network designs and tools for network visibility and monitoring. Gather performance data across Chrysler networks. Provide proactive monitoring and alerting. Develop processes and policies. Interact with all Chrysler IT organizations and outside vendors. Provide user support and training.
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science or relevant field of study • Minimum 3 years network experience • Minimum 3 years experience in network monitoring, implementations, and support • Ability to be on call for 24/7 support as necessary
PreferredRequirements:
• Good organization, communication, and process improvement skills • Able to identify risks and establish priorities in a high energy environment • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred • Experience with Netscout and HP products/tool set
