NETWORK PLANNING ANALYST, PRINCIPAL
Title: NETWORK PLANNING ANALYST, PRINCIPAL
Location: VA-Arlington
Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform as the subject matter expert, task leader and a technical resource for systems as they relate to the Primary Entry Point (PEP) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) project. Responsibilities include the review of task performance and work products for correctness, for adherence design concepts and user requirements, and for progress in accordance with contracted schedules. Coordinates with the CACI Program Manager, the COTR, and other stakeholders as appropriate, to ensure solution and user satisfaction for technical matters. Prepares and delivers presentations to client, peers, subordinates, and user representatives. Provides technical knowledge and analysis of applications and operational environment, functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and/or implementation. Must have working knowledge of appropriate tools, techniques, and methodologies to perform PEP O&M tasks. Provides leadership and assistance to lower-level personnel.

Provides thought leadership to project analyses and process improvement activities.

Helps define and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core technical aspects of the project.

Responsible for complex project management tasks and development of standards and processes for project scheduling, administration, and accounting.

Clearly documents and presents findings including creation of diagrams and procedure documentation.

Responsible for driving recommendations through to implementation.

Communicates effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.

Help identify, analyze and define project requirements and scope.

Exercises broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects tasks.

Help define and allocate the resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the project.

Required Qualifications:

Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 10 to 12 years of related experience, including nine to twelve years of supervisory/management experience. Must have knowledge of day-to-day PEP operations and an understanding of how emergency repairs are conducted at radio stations.

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite communication concepts, techniques and methodologies. Knowledge of High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) requirements and testing procedures.
