Job description Network Support Specialist
Role
The Network Specialist is responsible for the delivery of technical skill into a wide range of Clients and Business Sectors. Must be able to demonstrate where you have taken complex client requirements and have developed these into an architecture design and integration proposal in a pre-sales capacity.
You must also have a proven track record in the delivery of Network Solutions (including Unified Communications) that is a direct result of either your own proposal or that of the Solution Design Centre.
In addition to the above Certifications the Specialist must have demonstrated delivery in a complex Cisco, Routing & Switching environment and can demonstrate performance enhancement through use of load balancing tools. Key to this role is an ability to operate in the Cisco IPT (voice) environment.
A proven track record in Cisco Telepresence is also sought with IPT certification held as a minimum standard.
It is also anticipated that a proven track record is demonstrated with the Juniper routing & switching portfolio with a good understanding of WAN, WAN acceleration, Firewall & VPN - gateways. Demonstration of the following skills will also be considered.

Educational requirements.
Minimum degree standard in an appropriate subject and/or proven time based experience (minimum of 3 years) in a Network role.
Personal Skills
Must be comfortable operating across all aspects of Client facing service delivery - can articulate complex solutions and is comfortable operating under pressure. Must be willing to travel and occasional time away from home is expected. Is equally comfortable operating and advising in a pre-sales capacity and has experience of this and where it has led to sales.
