Next Generation Communication Services Product Manager
Next Generation Communication Services Product Management:
• Manage multiple highly complex projects that involve key Verizon Wireless stakeholders to develop and launch new communications products and services.
• Manage cross functional teams to align business plan, company priority, resources and strategy to develop Verizon Wireless centric products such as IMS VOIP (VoLTE), Rich Communication Services, and other core voice product experiences.
• Responsible for partnering with the voice, video calling, and messaging teams to create an integrated communication experience across multiple device endpoints.
• Help to identify industry trends and developments to ensure Verizon Wireless can effectively compete with new technology developments and within a rapidly evolving competitive landscape.
• Work on a team that delivers best in class products that meet and exceed market demands.
• Work on a team that creates a cohesive, intuitive and unified communication experience leveraging the core Verizon Wireless assets to create a defensible product against competitive threats.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle and teams through all phases as the product/service evolves from concept to post-launch product management.
• Manage for issues associated with product.
• Part of the team developing and executing of the product roadmap.
• Experience:
• 5-7 years of product development and management
• 3-5 years of wireless/telecommunications/technology experience
• Other:
• Understanding of telecommunications/wireless fundamentals
• Excellent skills required to compile and analyze quantitative data
• Demonstrated product management skills and ability to work independently

* Education: BA or BS required; MBA preferredThis position is responsible for managing the marketing development and implementation of our next generation communication experience. The role is responsible for the end-to-end product management of core communication features and the enabling technologies. This individual will play a critical role in defining Verizon Wireless' next generation communication experience, including the integration of related VZW features and service endpoints where appropriate. This manager will collaborate with Technology Product Development, IT, and other Product Marketing functions (like Messaging) to ensure the Verizon Wireless core communications experience is best in class.
