We are seeking a NMC Technician for our Network Center in The Woodlands, TX. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the satellite distribution of our Regional Sports Networks and Cable Networks platforms as well as providing telephone customer service to Cable Headend Technicians for these networks. Duties include controlling satellite receivers via their respective receiver control system and troubleshooting the operation and behaviors of these receivers.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency but a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of 1+ years experience in a troubleshooting or customer service position area is also preferred. A basic knowledge of all types of sporting events is preferred and previous technical experience in the telecommunications field is a plus. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary. The ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision and the ability to multitask and perform well under strict deadlines are required.
