Global Digital Media Xchange Inc. seeks a NOC Technician for the Broadcast department. This position is responsible for 1st level support for the Syndistro/Javelin distribution platform including fielding all incoming calls from stations as well as content providers. Position will also be responsible for investigation and escalation of delivery issues to resolution as well as queue management of pending spot deliveries and rescheduling of syndication feeds as outlined by standard operating procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Footprint and Network monitoring of Syndistro/Javelin distribution Platform.
* Creation and distribution of POD's for all deliveries.
* Queue management for spot deliveries.
* Incoming station calls and communication with content providers.
* Investigation and troubleshooting of failed deliveries, issue escalation and ticket creation.
* Station communication in response to failed deliveries.
* Scheduling of refeeds/retransmissions as dictated by established SOP's.
* Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* BA/BS preferred.
* 5 years previous experience in television industry including customer service.
* Client service experience and ability to sustain relationships with Ad agencies, content providers and TV stations is required.
* Must have intermediate knowledge of Broadcast, Syndication Ad Delivery workflows.
* Basic knowledge of Broadcast computer systems.
* Excellent Excel, database, word processing and computer skills.
* Must be able to prioritize, work well in crises situations and exercise good judgment.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with other levels of personnel and management.
* Must be detail oriented.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Must be multi-task oriented in a fast paced environment.
* Client service experience and ability to sustain relationships with Ad agencies, content providers and TV stations is required.
