Job Description: Cisco is seeking a highly motivated Operations Program Manager who has demonstrated experiences in Information Security to help secure the company's systems, applications and customers' data. Ideal candidate must be able to manage a high degree of change in a fast paced, complex and demanding environment and drive the Cisco SaaS compliance efforts for numbers of standards ranging from security to operational quality. This position also requires the good interpersonal and team skills, problem solving, decision making, influencing and ability to meet deadlines, as well as the dedication to customer success. Top candidates will have broad technical expertise in Information Security, strong analytical skills and the ability to drive quality and standards based compliance practices across the organization. Familiarity with PCI, SOX, NIST, FISMA, SAS70, ITIL and ISO 27001 standards is a plus. Job Activities & Responsibilities: - Drive technical meetings with stakeholders to review security infrastructure, controls, applications, process, and policies - Responsible for tracking potential weaknesses, assessing risk and outlining remediation strategies - Ensure processes are in place for measuring and improving the quality - Responsible for maintaining clear communications and providing program status to all relevant stakeholders - Escalation of project issues and concerns, ensure that issues are resolved in a timely matter - Provides timely and accurate reporting and operational updates to across functional teams - overseeing the release project decisions and processes in terms of the big picture/customers impacts; to provide clear and consistent communication of release status both internally within Operations and with Business Stakeholders; to ensure that issues and risks are identified, understood early and dealt with in a manner that mitigates surprises, risk to scope, impact, and schedule. Required: - Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others - Demonstrated success managing the complex release projects in a very dynamic, fast paced, and demanding environment - Experience with PCI, SOX, NIST, FISMA, SAS70, ITIL and ISO 27001 - Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, and scheduling - Proven track record of achieving objectives on schedule and within budget - Experience with analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions - Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and interpersonal skill - Good working relationship with peers. Excellent follow-through. Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment - Able to analyze the need in order to understand the requirements and identify possible solutions - Self-directed, self-motivated, independent worker - BS/BA degree preferred, plus 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects - Proficiency in MS Project and other project & portfolio management applications Desired: .
