Responsibilities:
Position Summary: The Oracle Applications Developer is responsible for development, maintenance and support of applications and modules required to support Compuware’s Finance and Human Resources departments. They work with internal customers to gather requirements for new features or to understand issues encountered by the customer. They respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate, timely responses or solutions.

Having the ability to turn ideas into reality, communicate effectively, and work closely with others in teams around the world is essential. Qualifications:
Primary Roles/Responsibilities: * Work with project teams on tasks involving Oracle’s E-Business Suite. * Design and development of customizations within the E-Business Suite. * Operate in both technical "hands-on" and technology mentoring capacities * Establish and maintain a good relationship with team members and internal customers. * Maintenance and Support of Oracle Applications for Finance and Human Resources * Respond to application problems reported by the users – including investigating the issue, root cause analysis and programming of code corrections. * Design and development of programs for enhancement requests * Provide a quality and timely response to user requests. * Participate in training and information sharing activities. * Act as backup for other team members when necessary. * Provide after-hours support as required for the worldwide customer base
Required Skills/Competencies: * Expert PL/SQL, XML and SQL development skills. * Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite applications (Oracle Financials or HR). * General programming and analysis skills and experience. * Experience with Oracle databases. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team. * Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment. * Ability to write and maintain technical documentation. * Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation. * Excellent organizational/time management skills. * Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Desired Skills/Competencies: * 3-5 years of experience in programming work experience. * Team Leadership skills and experience. * Experience with providing technical leadership to a development team. * Familiarity with basic Accounting principles. * Familiarity with basic Human Resources principles.
