Title: Oracle Applications Developer Location: California-Santa Monica Duties and Responsibilities: The Oracle Applications developer is responsible for working with peers, functional team and business units to: identify user requirements and design, develop and test solutions to support business processes related to HR, Benefits, Performance management and Payroll. In addition, the position will assist with the development, testing, and support of supply chain/finance modules of our global ERP System.?This will include, but not limited to, analyzing and understanding business challenges, mapping current business processes to new systems, identifying business process and organizational change impacts, and resolving issues that affect business processes.? The Oracle Applications Developer will also write functional/technical specifications, develop appropriate test scenarios and scripts, develop code using Oracle EBS development tools, analyze test results, document process and system problems and work with the functional team to resolve them.?The position will ensure that a design being implemented supports operating objectives, business requirements and utilizes best practices for development.?
Principal Working Relationships: The Oracle Applications developer is responsible for working with peers, functional team and business units.
Position Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Related degree Special Knowledge, Skills:(Tools and Technology, Technical Skills) · Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Forms and Workflow, specifically for Oracle E-Business Suite · Knowledge of AIM Methodology · Knowledge of UNIX Shell scripting · Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies; specific knowledge with Oracle E-Business Suite functional processes and tools is critical.?
Other Qualifications and/or Requirements: (Years of exp. required, key competencies to be successful) · 3 - 5 years of Development experience in Oracle Applications Human Resources related modules preferably HR, OAB, SSHR, PMP and Payroll. · Three or more years of experience working on the implementation/Support of HR modules of Oracle EBS 11.5.10 or above version. · Significant experience developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems using Oracle Applications Development tools · Three or more years experience with business processes related to Benefits and Human Resources.? · Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/?interpret business/functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.? · Excellent verbal and written skills, organizational and time-management abilities. · Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including aptitude for mentoring and coaching others, and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
Physical Requirements: The position requires the ability to perform essential job functions which may typically include sitting; walking; standing; bending; use of hands to type, handle or feel, reach with arms or hands, stoop, kneel, talk, see, hear and carry light items such as papers, notebooks, pens, etc. May also require occasional travel by car or plane.
