Title: Oracle DBA * Location: United States-California - Los Angeles
The Oracle Applications DBA will provide project and day to day operational support for Oracle Applications, Oracle databases and associated tools.
· Provide day to day and project support for Oracle Applications; this includes but is not limited to:
o Monitoring and problem resolution o Patch analysis and deployment o Cloning o Database Tuning
· Communicate to stakeholders via standard methods (e.g. orally, email, ticket system).
· Resolve incidents and problems. Communication of same to stakeholders.
· Facilitate the promotion of application code, setups, databases and related components from the various levels of development through staging and production.
· Follow standard OTS operational methods utilizing OTS' standard tool set.
· Develop or refine technical procedures, scripts and associated documentation.
· Assist in disaster recovery preparation, planning and testing.
Bachelors degree in related field. Minimum of 7 years supporting, optimizing, and securing high-availability Oracle Databases and Oracle Grid : Information Technology
