This is a permanent opportunity.
Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Oracle Designer/Forms Consultant to join their growing Calgary office.
Role and Responsibilities
Systems Analysis of an existing very complex oil accounting and invoicing system.
Analysis and documentation of the data that is impacted by each in-scope screen.
Analysis of the screen interactions and functionality.
Extraction of rules.
Design and Development of integration and form changes.
Design and development of processes or jobs to merge data updates from staging tables to live application data tables.
Design and development of a small number of new forms.
Design and development of changes to existing forms.
Associated error handling.
Application development is 100% Oracle Designer - entire application is generated with no post-generation modifications.
Database
Data model and DDL creation/maintenance.
Identifying test data and load requirements.
Testing
Performing unit testing and supporting functional testing.
Coordination
Co-coordinating changes with the existing support team to ensure changes in the same code base are not conflicting/released too early.
Qualifications
Required Technical Qualifications:
Forms administrative capability as well as development capability.
Oracle Designer 10g
3-4 years recent hands-on Oracle Designer and Oracle Forms experience.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science
Very good communication skills - written and verbal.
Organized and able to focus to meet timelines.
Team player with multiple stakeholders - client and other vendors.
