The Oracle ERP Application Developer is responsible for customization, administration and support of Oracle ERP applications. Interacts with end-users to provide support. Evaluates, designs, implements, and maintains Oracle e-business applications. Involved with design reviews, systems testing, and data modeling. Performs installations, configuration, administration, and tuning of Oracle application e-business suite software products, and other Oracle applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oracle Applications Administration * Provide immediate first level support for the Financial, HR and Order Fulfillment Applications, interacting daily with end users. Duties would include but are not limited to: User Password and Responsibility Maintenance, ADI Installation, Managing Concurrent Processes, and day-to-day troubleshooting. * Assist with user training * Recommend process and/or system improvement, which will lead to improvements in end users satisfaction and customer service. * Provide 24x7 support for critical Business Systems * Other duties as assigned Oracle Application Support/Customization * Lead or participate in application development, problem resolution, and system enhancements * Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, views, triggers to support financial applications using PL/SQL * Create UNIX scripts to process data * Maintain workflows and AME setup Required Skills
Essential Education, Skills and Environment: Education and Work Experience * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience * 5 years or more professional experience with all aspects of development in an Oracle Applications environment * 5 or more years of experience in database (SQL Server and/or Oracle) development. * 5 or more years in business application support experience (Financial Systems, CRM) Specialized Knowledge and Skills * Oracle Applications release 11i development experience * Functional experience with Core Financial, Order Management, Install Base and Self-Service(Including AME) modules * Solid experience maintaining, enhancing, and tuning programs as well as forms, reports, interfaces, and Oracle APIs * Oracle Forms and Reports tool experience * Discoverer Administration/Report writing Experience * Solid SQL and PL / SQL background * Workflow design and development experience * Ability to create, extend, and deploy OA framework forms * Ability to personalize core and JSP pages * Ability to register and set-up concurrent programs and forms * Ability to register and modify menus and responsibilities * Unix Shell scripting experience * Be able to multi-task while working independently with minimal direct supervision * Excellent Communication skills Equipment and Applications * Apple OSX, Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems * SQL Loader * Oracle MetaLink (Service Request Management and Research) Sarbanes Oxley For Sarbanes-Oxley compliance all key IT controls have a control owner assigned.
