Oracle HRMS Developer/Analyst

This position will (1) be the primary analytical support for assigned departments and their systems, (2) work with assigned departments to evaluate and document their requirements, review and track their projects, (3) develop enhancements to applications, reports, interfaces, and systems, (4) develop a thorough understanding of business functions, (5) design or assist in the selection and installation of complex financial and administrative systems and (6) monitor information technology output for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. This position will primarily support ORACLE HRMS Applications. Key Responsibilities* Thoroughly understand customers business processes and how Oracle Human Resources applications support these processes. * Work with customers to document specifications / requirements for enhancements to systems, applications, and interfaces.* Make design recommendations to meet specifications / requirements for enhancements to systems, applications, and interfaces.* Analyze existing applications and systems to identify opportunities for simplification and enhancement.* Analyze present and future system needs of customers and make recommendations on options and alternatives for implementing applications and systems.* Manage small projects or sub-projects within a larger project. Job Requirements/Experience: * Strong technical understanding of Oracle applications, including HR, Advanced Benefits, iRecruitment, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, and Workflow. * Must have expert level skills with Oracle development environment and tools, including ADI, OFA, Discoverer, Apex, JDeveloper and PL/SQL * Ability to develop detailed user requirements / specifications documentation supporting complex system enhancements. * Must have a thorough understanding of data models and database design concepts. * Must have knowledge of development life cycle and production environment procedures in an Oracle applications environment. * Must have excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills: both written and verbal. * Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems. * Must have demonstrated, excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person. * Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Production Support: * Diagnose Oracle Human Resources application problems and develop plans to correct problems that may include modifications to user procedures, user data entry instructions, user training, and/or database correction proposals. Maintains a problem/issues log and communicates problem status.* Coordinate the escalation and resolution of software processing problems with vendor support specialists. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and six years work related experience in the information technology field; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience *Must be able to pass a drug screen and/or background check.
