Information Management Manager (Payment Card Services Application Support Manager)
ACS a Xerox Company's Payment Solutions Group is searching for a Payment Card Services Application Support Manager desired to work with a highly energetic and dynamic team supporting medium to large transaction processing systems for ACS' customers.
We are looking for an individual with proven leadership, organization, communication, and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for resolving problems and incidents as they occur, work with level 1 and 3 support personnel to ensure proper steps are taken to resolve those problems and incidents, ensure new processes and procedures are documented for use by other analysts working on similar applications.
Must be able to work in a demanding 24x7 support environment.
Must have ability to work in a multi-system and multi-platform environment.
Responsible for documentation of processes and procedures relating to deployment, troubleshooting and environment maintenance for our applications.
Provide effective leadership and mentoring to staff so they can achieve defined customer satisfaction and operational performance goals.
Develop staff skills and associated tools, processes and procedures in order to improve the delivery of customer support and team measures of effectiveness.
Collaborate with other teams to define/execute strategies that improve product quality and enhance the overall service experience of our customers.
Recommend required budgetary and staffing needs and efficiently manage approved resources.
All other duties as assigned.
Functional Description:
Experience Required:
Excellent working knowledge of Linux, HP, Sun Solaris, and Windows server environments and network technology.
Basic skills on TCP/IP networking concepts and understanding of firewalls and proxies required.
Strong communication, customer service, organizational skills, and strong troubleshooting skills are a must.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, good customer interaction skills.
This position requires a minimum 5 years in a mission critical, high volume transaction solutions environment providing application and technical support focused on ensuring high availability of service, improving customer satisfaction and customer experience.
Strong team building, process management, project management, problem solving and task organization skills.
Education and Typical Years Experience
Bachelor's degree in technical or business curriculum required. ITIL and/or PMP certification a plus. Minimum of 5 years experience in IT and 2 years experience in a 24x7 operational support leadership role.
