- QA-ing the implementation of all PeopleSoft Student modules: Student Records, Student Financials, Financial Aid, and Admissions.
- Candidates should have at least one but preferably more than one prior experience implementing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, and at least 2-3 years of Higher Education ERP implementation experience overall.
- Broader knowledge of higher ed processes is also helpful.
- Person should understand all phases of ERP implementation, including design, construction/configuration, testing, training/change management, and cutover.
- Strong writing, communcations, and relationship-building skills are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with client and develop project questions, gain understanding of the client's environment and assure that recommendations can be implemented.
Perform analyses and develop client deliverables appropriate to the specific consulting engagement.
Conduct research as necessary, including market surveys of vendors and users as well as secondary research.
With guidance from an engagement manager, analyze findings and prepare written reports and recommendations
Depending on project size, supervise other personnel, assign work, establish and maintain schedules, control project expenses and integrate individual work into a coherent and quality deliverable.
Identify sales opportunities and leads, which may come from meetings, clients, other consultants, sales force, vendors and others.
Assist in writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients.
Job Qualifications:
Management consulting experience with specific focus on information technology, including service offerings in IT strategy and architecture, enterprise solutions, strategic sourcing, go-to-market strategies, and risk management
A general knowledge of a broad range of technologies.
Excellent understanding of IT and its business implications.
At least 3 years of management consulting experience in conducting strategy level consulting projects.
Surveying and statistical analysis skills would be helpful.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferably graduate level degree, e.g., MBA, MS in information systems/computer science.
Track record in project managing large strategy level consulting engagements.
Experience in project oversight/IV&V for large system implementation projects.
Experience in one of the following areas is desired:
Infrastructure Architecture – knowledge of technical infrastructures (including networks, servers, storage) and experience in architecture assessments and planning.
Applications Architecture – knowledge of application integration methodologies, tools, and approaches.
