Description
The Data QualitySpecialist within PepsiCo International COE will be responsible for designing, implementing and communicating the Data Quality Strategy for the OneUp International program. This strategy will ensure the quality and integrity of corporate Master data through the implementation of tools (software, hardware) and processes (service levels, roles and responsibilities) to measure and assure compliance of the OneUp International platform to meet the global business and functional requirements defined by the ponsibilities are:1. Lead meetings with COE and market stakeholders, including the Data and Functional teams, to understand business needs and rules to ensure appropriate definitions.2. Plan and supervise resources necessary to achieve objectives on time and according to project's scope and costs.3. Partner with technology team to ensure technical integration of Data Quality tools into the OneUp International platform in alignment with PepsiCo infrastructure requirements (upgrades, service packs, backup and restore procedures, performance, development environment).4. Lead the development of detailed technical rules and definitions to measure Data Quality compliance against data standards (e.g. identifying duplicates, usage of standard hierarchies)5. Design, implement and execute the procedure of KPI's and escalation procedures to monitor and measure the progress of Data Quality over time.6. Integration of selected Data Quality rules and procedures into real-time SAP environment on a case-by-case basis.7. Define and generate metrics in order to identify corrective actions that enable continuous improvement of both the service and process.8. Define, review, analyze and make recommendations on opportunities for improving current processes, solve problems and continual service improvement.9. Creation of formal documentation of processes and infrastructure to ensure that the solution can be supported / sustained for the long-term, and to promote knowledge transfer and enabling Divisional or market involvement.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge & experience of the project development lifecycle for implementing and supporting IT solutions within a corporate environment (PMI, PLM, ITIL)- Good understanding of business processes, especially as they relate to Master Data in supply chain and sales & distribution areas, and the use and impacts of data to represent business functions & entities (direct experience of SAP will be required in modules like FI, CO, MM, SD)- Expert understanding of Data Design principles, concepts and practices (especially Relational Database Design, Data Modeling, Data Architecture and SQL language)- Able to provide leadership to internal consultant team to accomplish project objectives- Must be an excellent team player to work and get buy-in with associates at every level of the organization (Enterprise, PI, divisional and local)- Must have excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate ideas and processes, and provide documentation to the target user community- Ability to be flexible within a fast-moving work environment and juggle multiple priorities at the same time- Must be detailed-oriented and also have a strong service-oriented attitude- Minimum of 4 years experience in Data role supporting SAP projects- Minimum of 2 years experience of developing within an enterprise-wide Data Quality or Data Analysis / Reporting tools, such as SAP BusinessObjects DataServices or IBM QualityStage (or similar)- Minimum of 2 years experience of developing within an enterprise-wide Data Integration tools, such as Informatica, IBM DataStage (or similar)- Experience of Master Data Management solutions, such as SAP MDM, Dataflux, Siperion, would also be welcomeRequired Education -Minimum 7 years professional experience in an IT environment
